Wow, the last post made in the NY/NJ forum was November 14! Just to keep everyone informed, my tank suffered a massive ammonia spike (2.0 on the richter scale). I immediately cleaned out the tank and of course, started a new cycling period. One shark and one angel folded there hands due to the stress and the others are doing fine. This is of course, after the ich breakout and the in-patient treatment given. I realized that my LFS really gave me some bad advice regarding cycling, stocking and maintenance. I stocked my tank with 7 fish after 6 days of cycling. The shark had the ich and it wasn't until this event that I found AA. I also disturbed the substrate during the miniscule 6 day cycling period (horrors)! Now that I'm better informed, I should have some success!!!!! Meanwhile, let's not ignore our forum!
