Freshwater colored shrimps in nyc area

Anyone know where can i buy RCS or any colored shrimps locally in brooklyn, queens or Long Island. I rather not order online cuz of next day shipping cost and possibly doa.

How many shrimp are you looking for? Two LFS's near me that carry RCS are Total Aquariums on Sunrise Hwy Lynbrook NY and Pets warehouse Glen Cove Road Carle Place.

Both sold RCS for about $4.00 - $5.00each last I remember ... Pets warehouse has carried other colored shrimp like Blueberry Shrimp, Yellow and CRS ... though it has been a while since I've seen any of those.

i went to petswarehouse and they had only 1 type i think for $4. I'll check out the other place.

I know pacific aquarium in manhattan has RCS. Though you might want to call to double check. They usually have it when I go.


Also recently the LFS in Brooklyn on 63rd street and Bay Parkway said he is stocking shrimps. So definitely check them out.
