It's been too quiet in the NY/NJ forum, so I'm gonna make some noise!
The Greater City auctions are alot of fun - and not just because I almost always come home with something. It's interesting to see what people bid on and how much certain items go for. Tonight, someone paid $34 for a bag of a dozen or so cherry shrimp! The next meeting will be at 7:30 on Nov 14 at the VFW post (136-06 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing). The holiday party ($10/person) will be on Dec 19 at the Palace Diner (Main Street and Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing). |

You are quite right in getting some, this forum has been quiet for too long. I will second your statement about the auctions, they are always interesting and beneficial. I recently picked up 8 juvenile apistos for $9 bucks!
