Hello locals!
I'm polling for interest in a group order to LiveAquaria.com and/or a plant supplier like http://www.aquaticplantdepot.com/. I'd be willing to set up the order and accept paypal from anyone who wants something. (Assuming we get enough people to make the minimum order.)
I have a 10 gallon freshwater QT cycled all the time, and would be willing to set up and cycle a 10 gallon saltwater QT for the event if needed.
If a bunch of people are going to come to my house to pick stuff up, I wouldn't mind hosting a bit of a club meeting while we're at it. Wether you order something or not, you could come discuss your tanks, trade plant clippings and equiptment, or just marvel at other people's new purchaces.
Given the potential heat levels in July, I would suggest Mid to late August for this event. I'm giving lots of advanced notice so people can decide what they want and let me know if I need to start cycling a saltwater QT.
My home is in Rochester, NY, near the intersection of 490 and 390.
