help in maine

i have jewl cichilds that had babys do i need to take male out . are thay mouth brooders saw them suck up babies or did thay eat theam

no, jewels are not mouth brooders. chances are they either ate the fry, or moved them somewhere. Its generally best to remove the parents or the fry in that situation as they get eaten alot of times.

I am thinking they ate the babies because as far as I can tell, they are not mouth brooders. Here is the article I got the info from.
