How much substrate do i need for a 15 gallon tank

Hello guys, i need some help on substrates, i have got a 72 litre tank and very soon i am gonna set up my tank. I just wanted to find out how much substrate do i need and which brand of substrate do you recommend.i am looking for good quality in a reasonable price.please help !!!

Hello! It all depends on what your trying to achieve! There are many many many different substrates. Most people settle with PFS (pool filter sand) as its easy to keep clean and looks great and gives a natural look to the tank

Yes pfs is good but i already have gravel and looking for a layer of substrate,i think its 1lbs per gallon and should be one inch substrate below the gravel layer. I am a but confused between tetra and eco complete.eco is expensive but if tetra can do the job then dont want to overspend as i am on tight budget.
