my new tank

How often is recommended to do partial water change and full change?

You should never do a full change EVER! You should change 25% of the water once a week.

Ok will do a 25% next week, do I need to add drops? Or will it be ok

Drops of what? Water conditioner? You will need to add water conditioner every time you do a water change. The directions are on the bottle.

Its called sechem you put it in for ammonia, nitrate (both) bacteria etc its to make tap water safe for fish, so I need a conditioner now then? I thought I just add that as added 8 drops for my tank

Sorry its called prime by seachem it removes chlorine,chloramine,ammonia and detoxifies nitrate & nitrite and provides slime coat

Yes! That's great, you add a little bit if that to the new water when you do a water change.

Someone just told me its no good for doing water change only on set up as not a conditioner gosh confused lol

I do 50% water changes twice a week, fish love clean water. And you should dose Prime to treat any new water that you add.
