where to buy a generator

does anyone know where to buy a generator in new jersey, they are all out at lowes and all the other stores.

I would of course try craigslist possibly a small engine repair shop that fix lawnmowers chainsaws generators ect electric suppliers where contractors would go to get wire outlets ect

Building suppliers
Walmart
Any big chain store
And some big grocery stores like super store have them in my hometown

You're too late IMO, unless you want to pay way more than it's worth.

Most people probably already have scoured CL and bought every generator within 3 states. The only ones you will find are probably selling for 2x their value.

I live in a rural area, so I need to have one. I would just ride this one out and then go on CL AFTER the storm. You can probably find a good deal and be ready for the next hurricane/blizzard/etc.
