Hello All,
I am a noob to SW and to this forum. I have done some SCUBA on a coupla other countries and am fortunate enough to have seen quite a few SW in their natural habitat, even played w/an octopus (very curious, those critters are). That is the reason I decided on getting a SW tank. It took a lot of courage to jump in, but I did tons of reading and looking around. Now I found what seems to be a good place for advice.
I currently have a 55gal tank, 6 fish and 2 urchins.
2 Yellow tail damsels
2 3 Stripped damsels
1 Blue Devil
(new) Beautiful Yellow Stripped Maroon Clown
1 pincushion and pencil urchin.
Probably about 25-30LBs of LR
Crushed coral and LS
304 Fluvial filter
regular lighting (will switch in a week or so)
It have been up and running for almost 2months with livestock in it.
Well, this was just a quick hello....Time to go home and check my water!
