I can highly recommend The Aquarium Center in Clementon, NJ for everything freshwater and marine. I have shopped there for years and their staff is knowledgeable and reliable and the fish are always healthy and gorgeous.

Farther north in Cherry Hill, the Petco has a small but very well kept and beautiful fish section. Unusual for chain stores. It's the Petco off Route 70 in the Garden State Racetrack Area.
