WAMAS frag workshop in nothern VA area

Quote:
We are having our annual Frag workshop next weekend at Rockview Elementary
School in Kensington MD from 2-5pm. We will be fragging up all kinds of
corals (softies, zoanthids, some [acronym:7528a28b15="Small Polyped Stoney"]sps[/acronym:7528a28b15], etc)- mostly letting you get hands on
experience (what you [acronym:7528a28b15="Broken or cut pieces of coral which will eventually grow into a new animal"]frag[/acronym:7528a28b15] and mount- you take with you). Also, we are
having a special guest- Dr. Andrew Bruckner, from NOAA and the Coral Reef
Task Force, speak to us on issues related to sustainable harvest practices
and current issues related to Gov't policy. Frag swapping is currently
happening in the forums at www.wamas.org - if for some reason you can't
access it, bring what you'd like to share. Should be a great time, great
raffle with donations from Coral Connection, Tunze, Farms@thesea.org,
phishybusiness.com, Calfo Books, and more!
I plan on attending. Right now I might have another local reefer comming along with me. It would be cool if the Valley area could represent with a few others. We could car pool so as to save on gas costs. If your not a member the fee to attend is $8.00. Thats a great price for the oppertuintiy to come home with some [acronym:7528a28b15="Broken or cut pieces of coral which will eventually grow into a new animal"]frags[/acronym:7528a28b15] as well as the knowlege gained in attending the [acronym:7528a28b15="Broken or cut pieces of coral which will eventually grow into a new animal"]frag[/acronym:7528a28b15] workshop.
