Driftwood foaming?

Had anyone ever have a piece of driftwood foam on them? It's come straight from the store.

I believe that's tannins. Nothing to worry about.

I've had driftwood do this before as well. Never caused any harm.

If it is foaming while you are boiling the driftwood, then it should be fine.
