I've been dealing with Scott's Petshop for most of my plant needs. I
am very happy with my purchases but now have run into an algae
problem. I am a bit confused on their solution and information about
fertilizing as what they are telling me is very different on what I
read over the internet.

Is there an LFS near the northwest suburbs that you can recommend that
is very knowlegeable about plants and algae?

Thanks for your help.

Hi blang,
There are two that come to mind. The first is The Living Sea Aquarium at Devon and Cumberland (Park Ridge, I think.) I don't know what kind of advice they offer, but I was in there this weekend and their stock is awesome - more than I ever recall seeing at Scott's.

The other name I've heard a couple times is Sharky's in (?) Grayslake.

HTH,
hank
