Sand Source in Twin Cities (Variety and Inexpensive)

I subscribe to the Minnesota Aquarium Society Yahoo Group. Someone just posted this place as a great resource for aquarium sand, including Red Flint, black sand, and other aquarium varieties at very cheap prices.

cutting and pasting here....

Sterling Supply
459 Harding St. NE
Minneapolis, MN

I called them and they said the carry Red Flint in 0.8-1.2mm and
1/16"-1/8" sizes. They said they also carry other sands for aquariums
and have samples available to look at.

Price is $10 for a #100 bag, or 2 bags for $15.

Sounds like this is THE PLACE in the Twin Cities for cheap aquarium sand!
