For amazing tanks and plants AquaForest in SF is the bomb.

Ocean is very quirky, but nice fish. Water sample required !

In the East Bay:
Albany Aquarium in Albany they QT all the fish prior to sale. Great plants.

Neptunes in Milpitas. SW and some FW. Small but has some less common species. Very nice owners. Nice plants too. ( some came from my Club )

What kind of fish are you looking for ???
