Drought and fish tanks

Hey guys, we are in year 4 of the drought and I was just wondering what are some things you guys are doing in order to save water when it comes to our fish tanks?

You may include any ways you are saving water in your home.

Not saving but reusing for me. My water gets dumped onto the garden and the plants love it. Have heard of people flushing toilets with tank water also.

Ahh I see, I have been using old water to grow algae for other fish.

Anyone else?

Just water the garden and mothers house plants with it lol.
