Things to do in Houston Tx

I posted this in the lounge as well-

Me and my boyfriend are going to Houston to pick up my 75gal aquarium and we are only going to be there for a day and were wondering what there is to do in Houston? Any good restuarants or aquariums?

We will be near the Avery?? airport (I couldn't understand him when he said the name of the airport)...

Maybe Hobby Airport? There is an Aquarium in downtown Houston. I haven't been but hear it's nice. Lots of resturants and spots downtown that would be fun. They are really working hard on the downtown area, so there is a lot of new stuff.
