10 Gallon Hexagon
I picked up a 10 gallon hex today for free. I was thinking after cleaning and cycling it, that I would just set it up on the kitchen counter (peninsula). I only want one fish and for it to be a simple tank. Any stocking suggestions? Should I go with the good ol Gold Fish or can you think of some more interesting options? Thanks

10g is really pretty small for a goldfish.
If you're only wanting one fish, you could do a betta and have a very happy guy, although he's not likely to use all levels of the tank.
