10 Gallon lighting

I saw the other person's 10 gallon post, but had a question about the hex tanks. We have an All Glass Hex aquarium, 10 gallon. It's great. We have about...2-2.5 inches of rich substrate in there. I have been looking for a glass top for it, to no avail. And we are trying to find a higher watt bulb that will fit the little strip light. Any advice? We can't find anything in the store we like or online...

time to re-fit that hood with a PC bulb. You should be able to get what you need at home depot, or lowes, any home improvement place. Go to our DIY forum to see what others have done with retrofits.
