10 Gallon Tank Setup

Right now I have 5 White Cloud Minnows. Here's what I'm thinking about doing:

Top: 5 White Cloud Minnows
Middle: 1 Dwarf Gourami
Bottom: ???

What do you suggest for the bottom?


- Right now the water temperature is around 77 without a heater.
- I have an Aqua Tech 5-15 Filter

They get up to five inches, but they don't reach that for awhile, I forgot that they produce a lot of waste though.

id go for some sort of shrimp.

I think pygmy cories would be your best bet for a bottom fish. Shrimp are going to need a lot of cover with a dwarf gourami.

He's talking about Pygmy cories, the species listed above are way too active for your tank. Pygmy cories only get to be about an inch, and will do just fine. You will probably need to order them online however, as they aren't usually sold in stores. I'd say about 5 would work well in your tank.

Really? A couple places online had said that Cory Catfish would do good, hm, thanks for the advice !
