i have a 10" tiger oscar who is in a 55 by himself. the time has come for me to move on because he's outgrown it. this was my first fish so its sad. well actually i got him with the pleco thats in there with him which is about the same length. do i just bring them in to the store and ask for money? if so how much can i expect for them? probably bare minimum.

If a store wants to compensate you for the Oscar, it will most likely be store credit. The Pleco is less likely to be compensated for, but it really depends on demand in your area.

Anyway, I would ask for store credit and be prepared to get nothing in return. Just my opinion.

Where are you located? Maybe someone has room for him and you might know it is going to be good home.
