I want to have a high light tank that i can grow a lot of plants in my 10g. I have pressurized co2 so i want some nice lighting. What would you suggest? I would like something for around $50. Thanks

$50 is kind of limiting but not impossible.

I would suggest an AH Supply 36w kit but that's around $60-$70 total.

If you have an incandescent fixture you can use those screw-in CF bulbs that Wal-Mart sells. Not sure if that would get you into the high light area though.

Another option is to get a 2nd strip light and use that. Should be at around 30w total but less than that will actually make it into the tank.

If it's incandescent, doesn't he have a lot of options for under $50??
I've seen NO screw-ins that advertise a whopping 60-watts per bulb. Is that not real?
