Hey all.
Setting up at 20 gallon long and just wanted to know what your opinions on my stocking were.

5 panda corys
8-10 serpae or Cardinal tetras
1 dwarf gourami.

Heavy planted.
Thanks

Panda cories tend to prefer slightly cooler temps. Mine have done best at 72F. I have juliis in a 20 long and they are very active and seem to have enough room.

Ok thanks a lot. I wasn't sure if Julie's were too big so I went for the smallest Cory available at my LFS

the Serpaes may be a problem with a Gourami...they can be a little nippy. The cardinals would look awesome.

A school of 8-10 tetras should eliminate any fin nipping. Just keep an eye on them. I prefer serpaes and other larger bodied tetras like rosey and bleeding hearts. Lemon tetras are cool too.

Do not mix Serpaes with gourami. Even in large shoals, they'll nip the gourami.

Ok thanks. I might just go with the cardinals then.
