24" Current USA 2x24w t5ho over 20g long is too much light?

It has a plant gro bulb and 10,000k bulb.
I dose regularly with flourish and excel.
My hornwort and java moss seems to turn yellow and grow slowly but my recently purchased water sprite shows good growth.
Should I replace it with my 30" coralife 2x 18w t5 fixture?

I do not see any reason too. The yellowing sounds like a lack of nutrients.

The T8 fixture would certainly be adequate lighting for those plants, but in agreement with rich, I don't see any reason to switch.

hmm, ok. It just seems weird because I hear hornwort and java moss are easy to care for.

What's your nitrate reading? That could be a big factor in your yellowing
