ok so i might add plants and sand or smothe rocks
i whant to add fish with personality only 1 school fish
i plan this
6-9 cherry barb or a barb tank
6 corys
5 kuhlie loach
so what to add
maybe a pair of gbr
should i make it a barb tank or sugestions?

Personally I like cories. They're so interesting to watch...especially when they all pile on top of each other like a dog pile


However, if you truly want fish with personality, do a sorority of female bettas or Tetras. Barbs are just...nippy and sometimes mean.

If you don't have the tank set up yet, I don't know if you should be ordering fish at this point. Would you be adding the entire list to the tank at once? This may overwhelm the bio filter even if you are fully cycled.

No they ggo in a 20 gall corntine for a few days then I add them slowly .



Do you have a suggestins for the stock I whant fish you can tell the saffrens and have there own personality

If you want easy and colorful, I loved my Cherry Barbs. Or get a school of Harlequin Rasbora or groups of both. I had them together and they got along well. Lots of color. Both did breeding behavior when I did water changes.

A 29g is not very big for an Angel. They need tall tanks.

I had boesmani rainbows but two out of three died (healthy, no reason I could find, just one day started gasping, went pale and within a few hours went).
7x cherry barbs that dance around and provide lots of entertainment.
6x Glowlight tetras that seemed to be fairly docile til the rainbowfish died, then they explored around a bit more.
4x African dwarf frogs... Amazing to watch and great little characters.
2x Bluespotted corydoras who are total individuals and school together but also with....
4x peppered corydoras constantly fluttering around and lively
Was thinking of replacing the rainbows but the community is happy so holding off for a bit

PS it's a 125L, 33G tank
