Mostly agree with the previous poster. Its a dragonfly nymph technically rather than a larva, but still a dragonfly. Interesting, wonder how he got in there. Did you import plants or wood from a local pond without cleaning it?

No, the plants were from an online source, and this showed up much later. That was ages ago though, he was long since dealt with(left to fend for himself outdoors).
