5 gals in the floor later...

My UV Sterlizer is hooked up!!!!

I'm glad Stephen was home to help because I really needed his two extra hands.

We unplugged the filter and I said something along the lines of "we should put something under that ("that" being the thing for my CO2 canister that mixes the CO2 with the clean water before it returns to the tank) because water will probably shoot out of it" and Stephen was like "If you turned off the filter, I don't see how water would shoot out of it"... but after working with aquariums long enough, you learn that there is always a good chance water will shoot out of anything if you unhook it hehe.

Needless to say, I was right.

But after all of that, it's all hooked up and glowing pretty blue. Hopefully nothing disasterous happens while we sleep and we wake up to a crystal clear tank!

I'm to a point where I don't argue with Stephen just so he can "learn the hard way" so next time I don't have to argue with him.. it seems much easier to go that route =o)

But with out him, there would have been WAY more water in the floor
