We play tag. He will come "kiss" my hand them swim across the tank and I'll go poke him then he "kisses" me back. He also plays "annoy Caleb" and picks one plant a day to dig up so I can find it floating lol.

Mine likes to play lay in all the plants and skew up their growth and squeeze into the smallest hole possible and get stuck. I think the Kuhlis confused her when she was young

My ropefish is the one that loves all the tiny holes to squeeze into. I seriously stressed him one time but he got stuck in one of my rocks bad. He eventually with my help got himself free. I have since stuffed that hole with moss so nothing can get in it.

My ralphies do that. I have two in my tank and they always try to squeeze though little areas lol. Then they get lazy and instead of moving and going in a different direction, they just lay there for a while. One of them leans himself between one of my plants and the tank wall and he "lays" standing up. So funny.

A note on Temperature. Please research before taking people's advice as gospel.

I'd never heard of Kuhlis as cool water fish. According to Loaches Online http://www.loaches.com/species-index/pangio-kuhlii
Kuhlis like 78-82f

LA says 79-86f for Black Kuhlis

Now Dojos can be cool water.
LO says 50-77f http://www.loaches.com/species-index/weather-loach-misgurnis-anguillicaudatus

But they are super adaptable.

The reason I might skip GBRs is they want part of the bottom as their territory and with so many bottom fish they might be stressed and more nippy than usual because of it.

Bolivian Rams might be better or a large school of peaceful larger Tetras or Rasboras ?

Dojo can be a tropical OR cold water fish. They are adaptable as Coursair said. Just don't exceed 78 degrees that's about their limit.
