So I just got a complete setup for$160! Light, filters, stand, decor, rocks and gravel!

I'm going to cycle it then move my goldfish over. My question however is about cleaning the rocks and hood.

The glass on the hood is covered in what I'm assuming is calcium deposits, and the rocks have dried green algae on them. What are the best way to remove these things? I know elbow greese is always a good option but am wondering if there's an easier way.

Vinegar for the calcium deposits.

As for the algae... that's a tough one. Bleach might be the best option there followed by hot water and scrubbing.
