Im thinking about a 55 gallon tank, here are my ideas:

• 1 swordtail*
• 4 HT tetras*
• 3 pearl gouramis*
• 10 danios*
• 10 neon tetras
• 2 mollies*
• 8 cory catfish (probably panda cories)

Could I get a GBR? I only want one, is that ok? Or do i need 2? Also, if you have any other ideas for centerpiece besides a GBR, please let me know!
:thanks:

Ok never mind about the GBR, but any other good ideas for centerpiece fish?

What are HT tetras?
IMO a trio could or couldn't work. Since pearls are peaceful I can say with some certainty they are but am not sure.

What kind of danios? Zebras? Giants? Leopard? Pearl? Purple Passion? Celestial Pearl? They should all fit.

Careful with the neon tetras. They are finicky an sensitive IME and it's hard keeping them alive for the first few months. After that they should adjust to your tank quite well.

Apistos could work as well as a centerpiece. As could keyholes, African butterfly cichlids, some killies, angels, or some other fish.
