6 rosy barbs munch tails

All my 6 rosy barbs do is munch on each other's tails. These guys (3 male, 3 female) looked peaceful enough in the 10 gallon in the store, but they do nothing but chew on tail in my tank. It's a 20 gallon with lots of plants. They're all about 1 inch long. I've had them for a week and it does not look like they're getting any more peaceful. They're the only fish in the tank. Should I get more rosy barbs?

A couple of more may solve the problem. If you like them that much give it a try, otherwise you probably will have to return them.

get some more females 1 male to 3 females is a good ratio to keep down on teh picking. I had 1 male and 3 females for a few months with no problems.
