Hello, I noticed that whenever a large T-storm is coming all oh my fish calm down a lot (including my cichlids) is this normal and does it happen to anyone else?

I've never paid attention enough to answer, but it makes sense. I'm sure the fish can sense the change in barometric pressure that signals a storm. Potential for rough water would make the fish not be out and around.

That happens in summer here a lot, I'll be pulling out perch, bass and catfish one minute when I'm fishing and then when you can see a big storm cloud in the distance, I notice the fish aren't biting as much. It's weird, but all the animals at the zoo in San Francisco and in Japan before the earthquakes went nuts, went to hide, and a few minutes later the storms or earthquakes or whatever struck. Crazy but cool :)

Interesting. I'll have to look at my fish next time a storm comes around..
