That title should be "A terrible idea? re: Angels" Amazing what difference some punctuation makes

Current species living in my 75 gallon freshwater:

Platies (~10), Black Phantom Tetras (~12), Corys (10), Dwarf Gourami (2), Glowlight Tetras (~10), Cherry Barbs (~6).

Is it a terrible idea to consider adding a pair of Angels to that mix?

I am transitioning from fake to live plants, and would not be adding any Angels until that project is complete, but just starting to think about it. The plan is to hopefully have this tank be pretty densely planted.

You've got a lot going on in there. I think the tank mates are fine. However if you get a pair of angels and it also happens to be that your gouramis are a pair, that could be a problem right there as they both get territorial when breeding and live in the same parts of the aquarium so I'd be careful.

The dwarf gouramis are both male. While they chase each other occasionally it appears they have enough room to stay out of each others way.

Of course they may not be fully mature yet...
