Adding Filter Media

Purigen is primarily a "water polisher" to make your tank water ridiculously clear and almost transparent in effect; but, as has been stated, it's not really "better" than running extra bio material or mechanical material in a filter...I just suggested it because it's what I run for "extra media" in both my AquaClear 110 and Aqueon QuietFlow 55 HOBs.

Okay, I am probably going to order something else for my water from DRFS and I would like to know, what else should I get? So many people are suggesting so many things it's a bit confusing!

Pardon my stupidity, what is DRFS, is it Dr.Foster???
