Hi, I'd like to get advice on platies that I bought from lfs and are quarantined in a 3G tank. I bought 3 platies and have them on an uncycled quarantine tank for more than 4 weeks now. On the third week, one of the platies died. Two days before it died, she has what looked like a very small fungus on her which I had been treating before she died. Now, the other 2 that's left seem to be fine. They're both eating and are active. One odd thing about the two of them is that when they eat, bubbles seem to come out of their gills. My water has always been salted at 1 tsp per gallon of water and I do 10-15% water change everyday since I've got them. My question is, would it be safe to put them in my community tank now after 4 weeks? I am wary about the dead platy at 3 weeks. I am wondering if I should still keep them in quarantine for another 3 weeks?
