Try frozen mysid shrimp or small, live earthworms (all 8 of mine love these two menu items). How large are your ropefish? Do not worry overmuch yet....a mature or semi-mature ropefish can usually go a week or more without food before they suffer any ill effects.

Sometimes they do not ship well, and I haven't seen a lot in PetCos/PetsMarts/etc that looked all that great.....keep an eye on them.

NB: I have observed that most of my Polypteridae are not particularly fond of seafood beyond shrimp.

It's still early too, they still are most likely stressed from shipping

I agree with Toirtis' suggestions and will add another to try. I'm surprised they haven't eaten the bloodworms because those are my rope fish's favorites. You can also try bite-sized pieces of beef heart. My Polypterids seem to enjoy the stuff immensely (though it probably isn't good as a regular food item and I feed it only occasionally). Also like Toirtis....I haven't found my Polypterids to be particularly fond of seafood other than shrimp...which most of them will gorge themselves on.
