Air Pump Help

Hey I just got an Elite 799 air pump to hook up in my five gallon new aquarium, but i'm not sure if it can be left on at all times or if it overheats. The manual thing said nothing about it so I thought I'd ask you all to find out =)

It can be left on all the time. I have one running a bubble bar in our 20g.

AquaClear's air pumps are better. When I went to the store, I decided on buying the cheaper one from Elite but then a worker in the store told me to buy the AquaClear because it's better and quiter. (That actually happened a few weeks ago. I bought the air pump only today.) It's only a few bucks between the Elite and the AquaClear and it's worth it.
