Tanks not really near windows.. but honestly I dont think I'd mind a small amount of algae, would go along with the whole "natural green" look along with my plants

Algae happens, there's things you can do to get rid of them, a lot of the time if you just get some algae eating fish they will be sufficient.
Honestly go to you fish store and get a snail or a fish, but some times they recommend golden china algae eaters. DON'T GET IT, THEY WILL KILL ALL YOUR FLAT SIDED FISH.
2/3 of my local stores banned them. The other one sells them by the bucket cause their *** holes. And you have to rip your tank apart to get them out.
Ban them!

Yea I have 3 A-BNP in my 125 lol I know not to even mess with the C.A.E. lol
