I have an oto now and i still want to wipe off the agea of all of my glass and i was wondering if the algea that is on the plants, drift wood and rock i have would be enough to keep this little guy alive? i am also feeding it and my 3 cories algea wafers. TIA for any help!

I wouldn't worry about it. The algae on your plants should be more than enough for just 1 oto.

If you have plenty of algae on your rocks, driftwood, and plants, then wiping the glass off shouldn't hurt the oto. Is the algae on the glass hard or soft? The oto should eat the soft algae, but it may not be able to eat the hard algae, so you would have to remove it with a scraper.

Otos need to be constantly "grazing" to survive. A happy oto is a plump oto! You can also supplement its diet with algae wafers and vegatables, like zucchini, lettuce, or spinach. Here's a link:
