algea on driftwood

it could. you might want to see why your growing algae.
1. are there any windows?
2. do you have a really high wattage bulb?
if you dont have one of these id just go and get some nerite snails or amano shrimp.

Yes I have high watt bulbs plus all the ferts. I'm sure its time to look into a co2 system

then id get some algae eating shrimp or snails and then get some DIY Co2

i dont think mystery snails eat algae but they might and if they do id get 15 more but amano shrimp are best

No, Nerite Snails only breed in brackish water. The snails that take over your tank are called Pond Snails, and they grow to the size as a Nerd.

no those are ramhorns i think. i dont think these can have babies in freshwater.
