29 gallon almost fully stocked, with danios, tetras, Otos, snails, and shrimp.

Substrate is sand and gravel, there are just a few plants.

Ammonia and nitrite always zero, nitrate ranges 2-7 ish.

ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1401072996.206021.jpg Heres the gravel, 2 weeks after my last gravel vac. Almost the whole tank looks like this. One 4x4 corner is a little dirtier below the power head intake.

I feed new life spectrum Thera a .5mm twice a day, it's almost all eaten in about a minute like the jar says with a tiny bit still floating on the too when the fish quit feeding enthusiastically.

I put in about 1 omega one algae water a day. I have 3 Otos, 2 mystery snails, a handful each of Malaysian Trumpet and pond snails, and a half dozen ghost shrimp. Honestly the tetras are most enthusiastic about the algae wafers, the inverts like the fish food and the Otos just seem to eat the biofilm.

Everyone seems healthy and colors are very bright.

So how am I doing?

Oh here is the dirty corner

Thanks!

I sure am pleased with how much cleaner the tank is with the NLS fish food. As I'd expected it's like with my cats ... The better the food the less that gets pooped back out.

I'm sure I have a lot to thank the snails and shrimp for too.
