The journey has officially begun. I went to the pet store today and got some gravel. I looked at the curviceps cichlids, and I really like them, i dont know why maybe that it the simple beauty. They are south american cichlids so I have to do some research on them. To see if they would fit into my biptope.Does anyone have any experience with these fish?

Well here are some pics cause i know this thread is useless without photos LOL

Here is my tank converting back to fresh water. ( The sand took forever to get out)

Thats all I have for now my camera died. Its been 3 days since this so will post some more pictures.

What should the first fish i should add to the tank?

I'm actually thinking about some apistos or some angelfish. I have a 50 gallon tank, with

5 silver dollars
3 bronze corydoras
1 dojo loach
1 bn pleco
2 boesmanis

In your experiences, are the two above cichlids aggressive? I like the look of slow moving angelfish and my girlfriend adores them. Any advice?

they are not that agressive usualy, but if they spawn they can get very protective. it is fun to watch my 1.5 inch apisto fend of my 6" angel to protect his fry :D

Those fish will do well with each other the apistos mostley stay on the bottom and my angels only go there to get food that has fallen and mostley ignore each other
