Ammo Chips Needed ???

My tank has been running for 3 months now. I used Ammo Chips back when my Ammonia level rose to high. My tank Ammonia has been stable for 2 months reading 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrites and 20ppm Nitrates. Do I need to keep using the Ammo Chips at this point? :thanks:
 
No, you actually shouldn't have used them at all. Some good water changes would've done the same thing, with better effect.

What is it today with people having NO patience in waiting for a response? It's not Friday the 13th, maybe there's a full moon......:rolleyes:
 
The reason why it was high was your tank was going through a process called the nitrogen cycle. Did you cycle the tank before you put your fish in it? And you should never use an easy fix, it does more damage to your fish then it does good the majority of times.
