What kind of tests are you using? Make sure theyre liquid test kits rather than test strips and also that they aren't expired.

Actually, no. I've never done that before. :O Am I supposed to do that for new water going into the tank too?

Usually I do a tap ph test straight from tap and then after it sits for 24hrs once in summer and also winter.

Just to get an idea of what is happening.

I get the water change with the seasons. I assume it reflects rainfall / heat but it's hard to find out anything from the water board.

That's really interesting. I should totes test my water like that too and see if anything changes.

Just the government water corporation for city water supplies. They have about 4 different sources for water from dams to groundwater to RO plant.

My water is fairly soft so I have to keep an eye on kh/ph.
