amount of food for large fish

Ok .. you hear all the time ... feed fish for 5 minutes at a time .. twice a day ...... but with my Oscar .. 6" and growing ... and feeding him various small food products that take a while to eat .. does he get enough to eat in that time .... ??? .. how much should my oscar or a full grown one eat in a day ... and what is recommended for them to eat as well??? .. any help - greatly appreciated

That is how I have fed my Oscars for years.
All they will eat in just a few minutes.

I feed mine shrimp pellets, frozen blood worms,brine shrimp,beefheart,veggies and vitamin soaked pellets.

You need to feed a varied diet to keep them from getting hole in the head.
Stay away from live feeders as they carry disseses.

Start with zucchini, peeled peas and cucumber (not all at once ).
