Angelfish & black ruby barbs????

Are black ruby barbs compatible with angelfish?

They will be in a 90 gallon together. I have 4 angelfish already.

I will be getting 7-10 black rubies.

I just want to kno if people have successfully kept them with angels???

I'd imagine you could but just remember sometimes their fins can get the best of fish.
In a tank that big I honestly don't foresee any issues; one tip however. In a tank that big why not go with a much much more impressive school of rubies? Theyd display more color since the chances of having more pairs is greater.

I would but i also have other fish in it.

3 denison barbs
1 bn pleco
1 siamese algae eater
12 rummy nose
1 kribensis
3 oto cats

How many rubies could i get?

Hmm I'd get more SAEs as they're also schoolers. I don't really know but I'd personally say 13-15. Maybe a few more. Check aqadvisor to get a rough estimate of it.

I am going to start off with 10 of them. See how it goes and get 3 to 5 more a couple weeks later.

Yea ive decided to change my mind on the black ruby barbs! I looked at them at the lfs and they look to nippy with eachother for me.

I dont want to take the chance in waking up to dead angelfish!
