Angels

How many angels could I put in a 20 gallon long tank with sand, live plants, decor, a loach, possibly a puffer, and an apple snail. If there are any other fish I could put in there please tell me . Also I'm using a 40 gallon sponge filter.

none to be honest...when they are really young, or breeding, they could go in a 20gal, but it would need to be a 20 gallon tall. Angels are best kept in large tanks that are tall. Also, which kind of puffer? puffers are rather aggressive, and in my opinion are better for a species only tank.

None. They need to swim vertically and a 20 long does not provide that.
What kind of loach? Most loaches need groups. Also, puffers are bad community residents. Even the dwarf ones.
Tell us what kind of puffer and what kind of loach and we should be able to help you more though. A 20 long does have a bunch of possibilities.
