Anglefish fins

Hi everyone,
I have two angle fish in my tank, one is a vale tale and I am not sure what the other one is, think it is a long fin. A few months ago one of my angle fish got fin rot and half of her tail and fins fell off, she has recovered now from that and her tale is twice the length of before but her tail seems to split every fortnight or so. I use a natural based cure to fix this and they heal within 2 days. Is this how the angle fish grows its tail longer or what could be causing it?

Veiltail angels, (especially Superveils) have, in my opinion, delicate fins that are easily damaged, especially by other angels. I would guess that what you are seeing is damage.

Is it normal for them to keep spitting and healing so quickly,

And it's just one of the angle not both
