Any advice?

My mom's mad because I ordered a bunch of "just in case" meds for the fish. She doesn't know that they're meds as I just told her they're chemicals for the water for when I do water changes. Any advice on how to tell her they're meds and why I ordered them even though my fish aren't sick?

Just tell her that they are extremely important for the health of your fish. I have a bit of the same problem with my mom too. She tells me that I do not need a test kit when I really do need one.

It's like keeping an inhaler or an epi pen in the house. Something you don't want to wait 3 days for when it's needed. If she has dry hands does she want to wait 3 days for lotion? If she has a bad headache or back pain does she watched to wait 3 days for some tylenol. If she is hungry does she want to wait 3 days for a snickers bar.
