Any advice on Phosphate/Nitrate Reducing Pad

Anybody used this kind of media?
Like:
Acurel Phosphate Reducing Pad: Aquarium Filter Media
or
Acurel Nitrate Reducing Pad: Aquarium Filter Media

How long it's last? It's re-usable?
It can replace a normal Waste & Debris Reducing Pad?

Acurel has been in the aquarium business for decades. I use the Ammonia padding and it's a good product for filtration equipment in general. It's very thick and lasts through many water changes. I change half the water in my tanks at least every two weeks and service the filter equipment at that time. I just squeeze out the media in a bucket of the old tank water and put it back.
